Cold-pressed, unrefined hemp oil is dark to clear light green in color, with a nutty flavor. The seed is known to be very high in plant protein (30%) and easily digested. It has a high oil content (around 50%) and the essential oils Omega 3 and Omega 6, vitamins &amp; minerals. It, therefore, provides excellent nourishment, lots of energy, and is immune protective. Hemp seed can be purchased from a good seed merchant along with the other small seeds for your birds. Add not more than 5% to the overall mix of seeds. Or you might even buy a seed mixture that has hemp seed in it.
