I am very excited to be able to bring you another magazine full of information.

BirdLife South Africa announced the Cape Gannet as Bird of the Year for 2022. This spectacular bird, therefore, deserves to fly high on our front page. I also published a blog post, featuring Zanri Strydom. She specializes in the conservation of the Endangered Cape Gannet.

After reading more about Cape Gannets and the seismic testing for oil along the South African shores, I became even more environmentally conscious. As conservation is one of the main content subjects of the magazine, I plan to cover more conservation topics during 2022.

Our featured article is about Turacos. These birds deserve our attention if they are to survive habitat destruction. If the aviary and feeding are suitable they live for a very long time in captivity with records of birds over twenty years old still producing fertile eggs.

Kashmir Csaky gave me permission to publish Jedi’s, a Hyacinth macaw, life journey in the Premier World Wide Birds magazine. In this way, her valuable information is preserved. You can read part two in the Premier edition.
I am already excited about the February edition as we are going to feature Toucans as pets.

If you also love birds as I do, join our flock, become a Premier magazine subscriber or sponsor so that we can tell the world about your best products and or services.

Here is more information about the free standard magazine:

https://www.wwbirds.co.za/dir/bird-magazines-free/

What do you get for the Premier edition?

To follow me on Instagram:

https://www.instagram.com/petrusvantonder/?hl=en

World Wide Birds Magazine January 2022 is available to download from: https://www.wwbirds.co.za/dir/download/standard-world-wide-birds-magazine-january-2022-vol-6-no-01-international-sa/ Happy new year!
